  Haven't been in a few years. Last time I was disappointed as the fish tasted fishy. And Haddock fish is usually not. I went there today and had the same experience. I am thinking it is like the things we hear in the news, that they really aren't even serving you Haddock but some cheaper fish from China. On my second visit the server was shy and didn't know what she was doing, not well trained. Then my order was taken wrong. Then I sat there for one hour with no service. All I wanted was another cup of coffee and I wanted to pay. I finally got up and said the hell with this. I was the only person in the restaurant, in-between lunch and dinner time. The waitress had actually just up and left. Never said a word. Never knew she had left. I went to the register and the Manager said, oh is this yours. It was my bill. I said I was waiting for a very long time to just get another cup of coffee and pay so I could leave. She said oh yes that is my fault, your waitress left. I am sorry, it is my fault. I paid and left. How can a MANAGER, not serve the customer not do the job that they are hiring people to do and then not offer if I still wanted a cup of coffee, or one to go, or lunch is on me, or anything at all. WORST Manager & Server I have ever had in my life. Get rid of the manager and maybe someone new will hire better help. Very RUDE. Won't be going back. And this used to be a hidden gem years ago, a local type place. I'TS CHANGED>>>>

  Carbone's offers excellent food at reasonable prices and is always very accommodating to our large monthly meeting. Most of the staff have been with the restaurant for 10+ years and are true pros. I would recommend Carbone's to anyone looking for fabulous food for a casual night out, a small group, or even a business meeting.
